Discover the Super Sets of Tim Arnot (TangoAlpha)

Join us for an interactive walkthrough of sets designed by Tim Arnot, a DAZ 3D published artist known by his call sign, TangoAlpha. Tim is an avid aviation enthusiast and private pilot since 2005, Tim’s passion for flight simulations sparked his initial foray into digital design, beginning with scenery creation for flight simulators using GMax.

Transitioning from crafting digital environments for flight simulators to mastering 3D modeling, Tim now uses Blender and Substance Painter to produce a wide array of highly detailed super sets and assets for DAZ Studio. His work spans from dynamic vehicle designs, like the Enzo Vision Formula and the Mercury Coupe, to expansive environments such as Medieval Hall and Gardens, the Country Ford, the Old Railway Cutting and Gate 43. Each creation reflects realism, careful set design and an imaginative approach to digital environments, catering to storytellers and artists alike!

In this Creative Cart episode, Dartanbeck will talk with TangoAlpha as they explore some of his most popular sets.

Certainly no pressure - I'm just happy that he can take the time to be with us! :)

This was a Lot of Fun!!! ;)

UltraScenery

It was inevitable - TangoAlpha and Howie Farkes team up to put their magic together into UltraScenery's Amazing ability to recreate nature into our Daz Studio experience!

Don't have UltraScenery?

Here you go!

UltraScenery is an advanced solution for creating highly detailed landscapes in DAZ Studio. UltraScenery builds upon the instancing technology of DAZ Studio to place 1000s of trees, plants, stones, etc - giving lifelike foliage or ground cover density without the overhead of needing millions of polygons.

UltraScenery creates landscapes upon a terrain mesh measuring 64 x 64 meters - large enough to give a sense of space and scale but small enough to enable adding the required density of instanced vegetation to portray realism.

UltraScenery uses a simple 4 step process to create scenes that will be familiar to users of UltraTrees.

1. Create a heightmap for the terrain

2. Choose a landscape feature (road, stream, pond, etc)

3. Choose an Ecology (the plants and other elements)

4. Build the Scene.

Randomize the terrain and the ecology, turn on or off different vegetation layers or adjust the water settings to create a landscape that is uniquely yours. UltraScenery - Realistic Landscape System helps you build your very own world!
