Thanks Daz 3d - 2023 Summer Event
Wow! The month isn't even half-way through and I've already accumulated quite a haul!
Many of the things I acquired through the sale so far weren't part of the main event, but rather just On Sale because of the event. I was feeling my way into the sale, watching to see if the products that I'd need to make the switch to Genesis 9 were going to fall into my budget, and they really haven't. Yes, there have been amazing deals on Genesis 9 stuff, but not what I needed to get a good start with it.
No matter, though. I feel as if Rosie 7 and I still have a Lot of fun work to do together, so switching right now would be a shame anyway.
Kara Pitat got me started with this really impressive vehicle from the Adventurer's Toolbox Vehicle Edition series: ATVE Tadpole Monocycle!
Like all vehicles of the series, this thing is Incredible!
18 main control dials plus "Panel Controls" which operates panel articulations on the wheel itself, which can fold out to become the monocycle's kick stand!
It also comes with a clever set of shaders for spelling out whatever we want on the license plate! Cool trick, Kara!!!
Of all of the cool vehicles I've collected lately, this one is definitely going to belong to Rosie! She's going to Love driving this thing through the Cyber Sprawl!

I was deep into the creation of my Dynamic Character Animation in Daz Studio course for Daz 3d through Digital Art Live, when this thing went on sale. All of the Bone Minion's did.
I got the Bone Minion for Genesis 3 Poses for Genesis 9 since I've already converted all of my aniBlock and animated pose collections over to Genesis 3.
This thing made me feel absolutely comfortable - Sold, even - to make the switch over to Genesis 9.
Not just because of how awesome this tool is, but by testing it out so I could explain it in the course, I've also become a bigger fan of Genesis 9!

Three new rides!
SF 4X4 Racer is really pretty cool, and will add some coolness to some of the city scenes. Very cool Mely3D!
R35 Cyberpunk and Cyber Racer have been in my wish list for a while now. It's nice to finally have them in my collection, and they've already been transformed into aniMate Four-Wheeler vehicles using Linday's amazing system!

This thing ROCKS!!! It's a lone vessel, it's a load vessel hauling an empty trailer, it's a vessel hauling a full load, and it can also be a vessel losing the load as the containers fall off the trailer!

I remember in the old (I mean really old) Daz forums, when this fellow was in his v2 production, and seeing these folks work on armor for M4... it just made my spine tingle!
I wanted it Sooo Baaad!
Although he didn't always align with what I was working on, I always kept him in my wish list.
I saw him last night in with all of the sales, along with the other two add-ons that I wanted for him. This was the first time that I saw All of these items on sale at the same time.
That right there told me that I've been waiting long enough!
Time to defend the city against corporate security's behemoth cybernetic Monstrosity!
I love having texture options and, when they were creating these and showing them off in the forums, I just knew that's what I wanted for him.
Then SKAmotion comes out with this Ultra-Cool Walk Cycle for him!!!

I know that this is made to "Fit" Genesis 3 figures sitting down inside, but it's unclear as to whether or not G3 poses work on it.
The text is all Story-mode, so it's hard to say. It does say that, "The pilot plugs himself or herself in to the cybernetic control module, and is then braced in by the cockpit brace.
The torso hatch closes, and then the interface assumes control from the neck down, enabling the Heavy Powersuit to function as if it was the user's own body."
That leads me to believe that it might! :)

This is another one of those outfits that I had wish listed as additional streetwear for Rosie. In addition, each item from this outfit can work well with nearly any other outfit. I love the versatility of sets like this.
Speaking of versatility, this version of the popular JeanZ series is for both male and female Genesis 3 people, and has a lot of its own options as it has been completely reworked for Genesis 3.
What's also really nice is that it works with previous generation JeanZ texture packs!

The hair looks really nice too - not for Rosie but for all sorts of other characters. Really nice!

Wow! I really like this bundle, and being a Daz + member pretty much gave the whole thing to me! It was really marked down for members!
The Daz + Sale of the Day during this event granted some extra boons by getting this, but let's take a quick look at the promo images for these four products in the bundle first.
Ariana, by Tomars Animations (I'm liking this artist already!!!) has really nice promos.
From what I can tell, I really like the surface materials and the young adult apparent age fits nicely with plans for Rosie 9
She only comes with two makeup sets, but I never use makeup for Rosie characters - only eyeliner that I paint myself.
She looks highly detailed, but without being over-excessive, giving the impression of being older, or wearing too much makeup.
I like this nice smooth, youthful look. She also has an option for freckles.

If I add another New Release to the cart, I can unlock Huge savings and acquire a free gift. I don't have much to spend, yet a still struck Gold!
I've already been eyeing this shaders pack. Very useful set. Now's the time.
Adding this with the bundle above dropped the already low price of these shaders by a large margin (making them pretty much free)
and granted me a free gift, and one of those selections is something I've been wrapping my head around lately...
Only I'm not using it as a prison - I making my own Addon pack for it to turn it into a Cyberpunk Hotel!

The reason Analip 2 has sat in my wish list so long is that I simply cannot afford it!
Yesterday it was on sale for a Huge discount - I was really wisj=hing I had more money at the time.
With all of the above in my cart, I saw that this would get marked down at least 60-70%, and then there were other possible stacking sale discounts going on, so I added it to the cart to see what it would be.
Okay, I have that Daz Deals extension for Chrome, so it says what the recent best price was for any item in the store. The price it had in the cart was even lower than that!
Still nervous about it, I used the Daz Deals extension to quickly jump to some forum topics. Hmmm... cool... one from the artists themselves - dobit, who have some pretty cool stuff to look at in their Daz Store.
Anyway, it turns out that I can use this using voice recording instead of the AI voice stuff. That's what I really wanted to know. But then I found out that this thing has some really wonderful options for tweaking results - I'm a Huge fan of that!
Oh... I'm heading into Genesis 9. I wonder how difficult it'll be to make my own base figure config file, so I look a little deeper. Wow. Looks like this thing comes with Excellent instructions and support. Videos, Manual and an online Help!
Sweet!!! They already have an Emphasized Viseme pack for Genesis 9, and Analip 2 is already updated with Genesis 9 basic configuration!

I've been holding off on making Rosie 9 because I just don't have enough shapes to work with yet.
I thought that Ariana might help - and perhaps she will.
Alley 9 looks a Lot like Rosie, so I really wanted this as a base to start from.
I still need to get my hands on the Genesis 9 Essential Shapes Bundle to make her complete, but I really can't wait to see how she turns out now, having Alley 9 in my corner!

(there was only one) was made when we still used Pose PZ2 for transporting animation data - and Posermocap's (now Reisormocap's) have been second to none in my experience!
This pack has some fun, whimsical motions that I have always wanted to add to the collection.
I don't only want them for Kids, but for my characters as well - not always as the full motion, but using only portions of them leading in and out of others.
I'm really happy to finally have this set!
